Great job , nice having a good dining option on the Drive.

My first time here. The beef brisket was very average (and not very brisket-y at all), and the color of the meat was dull and gray. The service was fine and the atmosphere was good, but the food left me quite unsatisfied.

Great food and great menu... wait staff also makes for an overall great experience! On a side note - very HONEST people! I mistakenly left my credit card and $60 laying on the table (i.e. got distracted talking and left this behind). On the way home, I get an "IM" on Facebook advising that I left my card behind (Thirteen staff searched for me on Facebook). Upon my return - they handed me my card AND the $60. My expectation was that the cash would be gone. WOW! In South Florida this would generally never happen. Thank you Thank you Carol and team

Really good food was had by my party of four. I had the beet salad and pork chop which were both superb. One member of our group asked for his fish with the sauce on the side. When his dish arrived two minutes after ours, it was brought to the table by the owner/chef with a heartfelt apology for accidentally putting sauce on the original plate. I was impressed to see an owner come out to the dining room and personally acknowledge a mistake. My only complaint for the evening was the the restaurant was hosting a mixer of some sort and the interior was packed and noisy. The crowds made it difficult to find the restroom. I live in the neighborhood and can't wait to go back.

As always carol and Nancy know how to do it and do it well!! Friendly staff , superb food 100% a step up for the drive . Cozy atmosphere and always great crowd and friends. A definite place to try. You will return

I need to begin by saying this is the first restaurant i felt deserved a write up. I have not felt compelled to download an app just to write a review for any place i have ever eaten. Thirteens brunch by far has blown my tastebuds out of this world. The French Toast is to die for and the Bloody Mary's are music in your mouth. The atmosphere is perfect with an indoor outdoor setting. Every single person that works there makes you feel as if you are at the local diner in a small town. I do not normally eat breakfast but my stomach becomes a bottomless pit on Sundays at Thirteen

I didn't think that Carol and Nancy could top Even/13, but they have. From the burger with Gouda to the Brisket, it's all great. As a non drinker, they even made sure that they have a non-alocholic beer in stock. Now I can eat with assurance at either end of the Drive! Kudos.

Carol and Nancy are the gastronomic maestros of Wilton Drive! We started with the outstanding Tuna Tartare as an appetizer, followed by the Beef Brisket and the Sarge Burger as entrees, topped off by the Orange Ginger Pie for dessert! Everything was absolutely delicious, and our server Melinda was enchanting! And, of course, Kevin greets all the guests with a smile and a wink! We will be back!

Carol and Nancy you've done it again! What you bring to the drive is like nothing else in town. Great job on the space and phenomenal food! Hats off to you both After the amazing sliders, Baby Kale and braised beef... Yes, I had to find room for the double down on the red velvet... Touché

We love every course! Daniel and Jamie were fabulous! THE FOOD IS AMAZING! I wish this was in Dallas!!

What an exceptional meal. I started with a kale salad that had one of the best dressings that I have ever had. My entree was the filet minion, one of the best. You don't even need a knife to cut it. My husband had two apps. He started with the crab cakes. There was very little filling, mostly crab. He then chose the scallops as his entree. He claims they were the best he has ever had. Our server was phenomenal, as well as the rest of the staff. The owner, Carol, was amazing! She spent a lot of time with us, talking to us as we were guests in her own home! Amazing! The only negative thing I have to say is that we haven't patronized Thirteen before now! What a gem!!!

This was our second visit here and it was just as great as the first. My husband went for the pork chop again, he enjoyed it so much the first time. The pork chop is a large bone in that was cooked perfectly. We shared the crab cake and it was moist and flavorful, lots of crab. I enjoyed the lamb chop that was grilled perfectly. Everyone working there was so nice, checking on us without us feeling suffocated. Looking forward to returning.

My special guy and I went there for dinner and had a great time. The food was exquisite and the service was very attentive. I had three courses and my guy had two. No alcohol. We like to be full when we eat. Tapas size dishes with high dinner pice. I'm giving four stars because the portions were small.

I like this place. The decor is nice, well light and a chill atmosphere. The food is all over the place, but good though. They don't have a cohesive menu. The variety is too large for such a small place. We had the fried chicken sliders and they were great. They came with sweet potato fries. I had the burger and my husband the salmon thy were good but couldn't rave about them. I wasn't impressed with the dessert menu. We had dessert somewhere else.

Love this place! Great bar, nice happy hour. Comfortable outdoor dining area and the prices are right to keep locals coming back on a regular basis. Hopefully those prices will stay down. Very tasty menu selections with style and finesse!

This restaurant is fairly new in town... About six months. The restaurant food is awesome! I had the vegetarian lasagna and it was to die for... Literately you will fall on the ground after your first bite... It's that amazing!!! My partner had the filet and it was cooked to perfection... He loved it!!! The wine list was very good and lots of selections.... The staff is super friendly and approachable... The owner is always around and extremely nice. They staff and the owner will make you feel some welcome that makes you want to come back again! Recommended!!!

Decided to try this place out. I use to come here when it was the piano bar known as "The Drive". First thing I noticed when I walked in was the decor. It is much different and not as dark which was very nice. They also added seating inside and out making it more of a restaurant and not a bar. First and foremost, the service. It was fantastic and everyone was very informative about the menu and very nice. The food. This is where it loses a star. We ordered the Heirloom Tomato, fried okra and arugula salad. When the first ingredient is Heirloom Tomatoes, I definitely expect it to be a large part of the salad. It was mainly arugula and very little tomato. Flavor wise it was very good though. The scallops were very good and the wine selection was decent. We also ordered the Lamb Chop and the Beef Brisket. The Brisket was definitely in need of salt but otherwise good. The lamb chop would have been perfect had it come with some sort of sauce. Overall, I will go back because of the service. I don't care how good your food is, if your service is terrible, you won't get my business. This place definitely knows how to provide good service. Looking forward to seeing them grow.

Walk by here all the time and finally stopped in for Sunday brunch. Had we known it is owned by the same owners as Thirteen Even just down the block, we would have gone sooner! Atmosphere is awesome, service is on point and food is, well, beyond words. We both had the chicken & waffles and sriracha maple syrup (yes, you just read that). It was amazing. We'll definitely be back!

  • Jolynn L.

Great from start to finish. I love supporting gay business and am often less critical of my wonderful family. but Thirteen is well deserving of 5 stars. Friendly staff slings great drinks. Menu is short and sweet. Arugula n fried okra salad was a perfect start. We also had the crusted grouper which tasted like home cookin! Finished with the red velvet cheesecake as we watched the sun set over Wilton drive. Bravo!

  • Ryan S.

This is my new favorite place to eat on the drive. The good is incredible and the atmosphere is great. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome from the second you walk in the door. The grouper is my favorite thing on the menu. I can't wait to go back.

While the portions may not be as large as a bear may want, the food is delicious! We decided to choose several of the appetizers to try it out for our first visit. We were not disappointed. The crab cake was delicious and the scallops were cooked to perfection. The fried chicken sliders were also good, but I believe that their sweet potato fries were the best on The Drive. I will give a higher rating once we come in for dinner again, if the entrees are as good as the appetizers. Also, the waiter knew about his wine and offered a suggestion that paired really well with the food. Good job! We're looking forward to our second visit.

Loved 13 Even and thought we would try the new hot spot. Todd and team made a table of 7 feel like the only ones in the room. Service and food was amazing. We all tried different meals and enjoyed every bite (Clean plate club). And Happy Hour drink prices - big plus

  • Joseph P.

Well, this was our first time in. We walked over since we live in the neighborhood. Like to wait and give a place a bit to work out the kinks(if there are any and knowing 13_even, there probably wasn't any). We sat at the bar and had some great cocktails and decided to sit at the bar for our dinner as well. Wow! Started w/the scallop appetizer which was amazing. I'll make this short. Everything from beginning to end was AMAZING. Perfection as usual. I'll just post some pics and finish my review w/that.

Great relaxed atmosphere with stylishly trimmed in copper and stone. Great people and delicious food. Pork Chop was grilled to perfection, moist, full of flavor on Apple butter with grilled asparagus. If you are looking for a Distinctive restaurant on the drive! Thirteen is it !

  • Marqus R.

I finally had the opportunity to stop by Thirteen and I really like it. First, you're warmly greeted and the entire staff is super friendly. Just being in such a friendly environment makes all the difference in the world. Right away you feel appreciated and comfortable which is so much unlike the way one was made to feel by the former tenant of the building, The Drive; the closing of which to me was a blessing of good riddance. Thirteen is operated by the same good folks who also operate 13 Even, but this operation is entirely different. Whereas 13 Even is basically for tapas, light foods, beer and wine, Thirteen is a full restaurant with a full menu and sporting a full service bar, which bar I might add, serves up a darn good full pour of a drink. Though the basic interior organizational or structural set up is the same as it was with The Drive, the décor, ambiance and general atmosphere are entirely different and vastly superior in every way. The menu itself is small but to the point and more than ample with basics of three appetizers, three salad, nine entrée and three dessert choices. Better yet, the menu contains unique innovations such as a bourbon cream sauce with its beef brisket, the burger choice with smoke gouda cheese, fried shallot and blackberry aioli with sweet potato fries, its salmon pan seared with a lemon caper, a southern carbonara with lardons and green collards and an onion crusted catch of the day sided with a roasted garlic polenta and orange kale with vanilla beurra blanc just to name a few. I had their garlic-thyme ribeye which was served to me in a good 10oz portion sided with a kale stuffed sweet potato. I ordered it rare, which is the way I like my meats, and it was served to me not only precisely done as I had ordered but also nicely seasoned to perfection. It was delicious in taste, possessed of a good solid meat flavor, perfectly season and in an impressive looking presentation. For a meat order, I couldn't have been more delighted. Indeed, I'm looking forward to returning in order to try some of their other menu selections. As far as the food, I'm happy to go four stars plus but because of the superior service I received and the overall sincere friendliness, not only by the staff but also by other patrons, I'm going Five Stars as Thirteen is just about as good as it gets for dinning on Wilton Drive.

So good! Dare I say great? Absolutely. Great service, fresh ingredients. A completely different look on food. Love it

Seems to have gone down hill. Feels food is overpriced. Had $28 ribeye that was mediocre at best.

Definately a very wonderful addition to Wilton Drive. Carol knows how to run a successful business. The food was prepared to perfection - beet/carrot/goat cheese appitizer and grouper with polenta for the main course. Great selection of wine and beer and a full bar, staffed by Greg, making this a wonderful atmosphere for lunch or dinner. Will be back for more.

This place is amazing. It takes a lot for me to actually write a review... And this was a lot! Starting with the decor.... Cute, stylish, hip, cozy... Comfortable the second you walk in. Next, our server-Miriam... FANTASTIC! Attentive without smothering, friendly, bubbly personality and very knowledgeable about the food!! We asked for suggestions from appetizer to dessert, and she nailed it! You're crazy if you don't ask for her, although I'm sure the entire staff is great, she's on point! THE FOOD! Perfect portions of delicious, expertly prepared dishes. Tuna appetizer, a tower of melt in your mouth tuna, avocado and sauces!!! We had the grouper and the sirloin... Outstanding! Bread pudding for dessert...mouth watering!! The owner came by to check in us, impressive. I'm a business owner, and customer service and experience are a top priority, the folks at Thirteen get that. You must try this place... I'll be sad for you if you don't.

Nice to see something open in the space formerly occupied by the Drive. Space is very nice with a large patio. So, we sat outside on a really nice night. Service was very friendly and attentive. Menu is where I have my possible issues. It is not a large menu (not a problem), but it seemed like there was something in each dish that I didn't like (my problem obviously). I did order the chicken biscuits with sweet potato fries. Its an appetizer, but large enough for a meal. It was decent, but tasted a bit dry, maybe some sauce would have helped. The sweet potato fries were very good and the dipping sauce as well. My friend enjoyed his burger very much. But it had a blueberry sauce on it and I don't like blueberries, so that wouldn't be an option for me. Only a few desserts to choose from so I chose the red velvet duo, a red velvet whoopee pie and a red velvet cookie. Both were ok, nothing special to be honest. All is all, I like this place and hope they do well. I live in the neighborhood and like to support local businesses. Glad to have another option on Wilton Drive. I give the service a 4, and food a 3, so since I can't give 3.5 stars, and the food is mos important, I gave it 3 stars.

Very friendly accommodating staff .. I was by myself looking for a casual dinner before hitting the bar scene.. I had the pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus . The pork chop was excellent and cooked perfectly! However, I do feel they skimped a bit on the mashed potatoes and "four" asparagus.. Perhaps this was for presentation.. But I say, pile on the sides .. They only compliment the meat;) .. All and all , I was recommend Thirteen ;)

Nice to see a different kind of dining option on 'The Drive.' Lord knows we have enough sushi/Asian offerings - all of which I love. But a slightly updated approach to standard fare fills a much needed spot in the Wilton Manors restaurant scene. Stopped in on a Sunday night with a friend. We shared an appetizer of the cheese biscuit fried chicken sliders with sweet potato fries. Very nicely done. For our entrees, I had the pan seared salmon and my friend had the lamb chop with quinoa. Both were executed and presented very nicely, For dessert, we shared some sweet potato ice cream, which, somehow, was both light and rich. Quite tasty. Actually, it tasted a little more like pumpkin than sweet potato, but that's okay because it was really good. Service was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I guess my only 'cons' - and I know that Thirteen has been open only for a very short time - would be that the menu seems to be a little small. Not a problem, though. Just an observation. And I'm sure that the menu will be tweaked and/or expanded as the restaurant chalks up more experience. Also, the decor both inside and on the patio seems to be a bit 'basic.' It's contemporary, comfortable and pleasing to be sure. But it seems as if it's kind of missing just a touch or two of 'oomph' or a bit of 'sparkle' somewhere in the mix - just to give the place a bit more personality. The current vibe really is very pleasant. But right now, the aesthetic just seems to be more 'basic' in a JCPenny way rather than 'basic' in a Calvin Klein way. Again, not necessarily a problem. Overall, Thirteen seems to be starting off on the right foot. Definitely looking forward to returning.

As a fan of 13 Even I was excited to try their new restaurant 13. The food was good and the service was friendly and attentive however I didn't enjoy the atmosphere. I sat inside rather than on the patio and the volume of the noise ruined the experience. The wait staff had to yell to be heard. I had to yell for my dinner partner to hear me. It was so uncomfortable. I heard other tables and wait staff talking about how loud it was in the restaurant. Also the general ambiance was casual dining and the menu seemed out of proportion to the place. It just seems like the restaurant doesn't know what it wants to be and the confusion makes it a place that I won't return to. Bottom line: the food was good but I didn't enjoy the atmosphere or the experience of eating there. They have a patio and that may be a different experience entirely if the weather is comfortable.

Five went in during the week for drink at the bar and full dinner. All the staffers were exceptionally friendly, professional and welcoming. Multiple different entrées appetizers and desserts were sampled, and everyone was very pleased with their meals. Some items off for varying portion sizes ( you may wish to go big as appetizers and desserts were a )little smaller) We liked it so much we made plans to return . Congratulations on a friendly and welcoming restaurant on the drive

We've been to Thirteen twice and had different meals each time. The food is very well prepared and delicious. I had the fish special last night and it was fantastic! The service is also very consistent and now we have 2 favorite servers, Erika and Josh. Carole, one of the owners even can out and talked to us about our meals, which we always appreciate when an owner or chef cares about what's going on in the dining room. Seating is cozy and we always end up making friends with other diners (usually checking out what their eating)

Again, Carol shows Wilton Manors how to get things right! We were on our way to Bona's for some easy Italian food and made a last minute decision to pull in to Thirteen....good decision! First impression.....the decor was simple, classy and clean. Second impression....the staff was friendly and smiling....every one of them! Then the food.... We started with peanut hummus. Hmmmm, well, I like peanuts and I like hummus, so why not? Delicious! Just a slight taste of peanuts, not overpowering at all. And the fresh baked naan it came with was amazing. Top it with some sweet and sour peppers for a perfect bite! Chose chicken confit as an entree, served with mashed sweet potatoes and a fresh veggie slaw. Delicious and the meat fell right off the bone. My dinner companion chose the brisket and raved about it! For dessert we split a ginger orange tart. Same consistency as a key lime pie. Tasty, smooth and not overly sweet....a perfect final meal! Definitely want to go back and sample more before I leave town and head back home! Thanks Carol!

This was our fourth time dining here. The kinks from the earlier opening have been worked out! Our server Erika was truly a great addition to the staff. The grilled romaine salad was delightfully tasty and the 'catch of the day' was perfect. I love the polenta and marinated & sautéed kale with this dish . Can't wait to return

Had dinner there. Ate in the patio which has tables suitable for a nice dinner. Restauant had a comfortable feeling. I had a crab cake with a appetizing remouloude sauce which was cooked perfectly and was no greasy. Also a heirloom tomato and arugula salad with a flavorable avacado vinegarette which was perfect. Staff is well trained and service is good. Looking forward to next time.

I ate here about two weeks ago with four other friends and deliberated before writing this negative review. The atmosphere is nice, the service was very good, however I had one the worst meals in years - the southern carbonara. It was completely tasteless, The pasta seemed like a slightly thicker Dutch Maid egg noodle, which my non-Italian aunts would prepare. There was no sense of egg, cheese, or cream. The bacon was basically dried pork without even a hint of smoke or flavor. The collard greens were imperceptible. The restaurant has been open long enough to improve or remove this item. My friend's chicken was unacceptably dry, but the other three enjoyed their meal.

First Time Here.. Certainly will be on my To Go Place!! The food was great. Appetizers as well entree sized salads. The entire staff from Greeter, to Server to Bartender were extremely friendly. Loved that Carol the owner came over to introduce herself and chat! An extra special touch that really goes along way.Smart Business woman! enjoyed the presentation as well as the taste of the food... See You Soon! Wishing you a long stay here on The Drive!

Good food. Had steak. Didn't care for kale or collard greens so they happily substituted something else. A bit pricey - ala carte. Would go back for a special occasion but too pricey for average daily dining.

Great experience! The service , appetizer, entree and dessert were all fantastic! On a scale on 1-10, they are a Thirteen!

  • AJ R.

I had heard a lot of good things about this place so decided to try it out. For starters, the beer I wanted they know longer had and the appetizer we ordered they were out of. We wanted to order chicken wings but we're told that we had to sit at the bar if you wanted to order them so somebody had to go to the bar to get them. The food overall it was extremely bland with no flavor. Both the brisket and the Porkchop were lacking in the flavor department. Overall a very large disappointment for something I was excited to try out.

  • Rick E.

Another awesome meal at Thirteen. Food and service were excellent. Four of us dining for a friends belated birthday celebration. Josh attended to us with prompt and attentive service and did it with a smile. I had the grouper special served over risotto, partner had the hamburger, friends had the pork chop and the ribeye...all were perfectly prepared. We started with the mushroom bruschetta and the cheddar chicken biscuit sliders...both amazing. From the bar, we had a fresh strawberry and basil cocktail...fresh and awesome. Only complaint was excessive inside noise from boisterous group sitting at bar and that is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five...as the bar area is open to the inside dining...creating an opportunity for a noisy interior dining experience. There is outdoor dining but we chose inside because of the South Florida August heat and humidity...but I must say the patio was at capacity when we left. Keep it up Carol and partner...you have a great opportunity here!!

An excellent addition to the drive. The food was delicious. I had the biscuit and chicken appetizer which was scrumptious and a definite recommendation. For the main course I had the lamb with quinoa which was good. The quinoa was a little under seasoned for my taste but the lamb was cooked to perfection and sauce on the side was great. We also ordered the fresh catch, which was grouper for the day. The grouper was melt in your mouth delicious and the polenta was amazing, I could have had an entire meal around that the polenta. I can't wait for my next meal there.

If Carol and Nancy keep the momentum they had tonight at our preview dinner, then this place is going to be a HUGE hit! Nearly everything we tried was 100% flawless....super stars of the menu were the scallops, the beet salad, heirloom tomato with fried okra salad, onion crusted grouper with AMAZINGLY good polenta, and the southern carbonara....at the end of the meal was also the most decadent sweet potato ice cream! Just delish! Will absolutely be back MANY times.....wishing MUCH success to this new gem on Wilton Drive!!!!!

Been twice, once opening week then again this week. Food is amazing but unfortunately even with getting appetizers left hungry both visits. The portions are just so small. Would rather have a bit higher priced items. Service is shaky. 2nd visit server had our table in the back and then other tables opposite side of patio and had to be flagged down. Also made snarky comment when said we need to order entrees that he was waiting for us to finish appetizers to ask for the order? maybe new restaurant syndrome. Both visits managers or the owners stopped by and that is a nice touch. Worried that the buzz will die down and people won't come after newness wears off. 13 Even is one of my favorites. Definitely want Thirteen to have the same success......

Delish dining experience with excellent service! Grouper and Rib Eye perfect. Enjoyed the poached pear for a nice light sweet at the end. Nice wine list too. We'll be back!

It's really nice to see a different option on the drive. Had amazing appetizers (Sea Scallops and the Crab cakes), The service was absolutely over the top. From the manager pulling out my chair when I returned from the restroom, to the knowledgeable and friendly server who made my experience a delight. My date got the lamb loin chops and I got the Ribeye. The entrees fell a little short. I like my meat cooked rare, and i understand that can be difficult to do on a wafer thin steak. For the price tag, I wasn't happy with what I recieved, and gladly would have paid more for a steak of a higher quality. Add that to the kale being served inside the baked sweet potato... and I wasn't a fan. However, due to the impecable service and the tasty appetizers, I will definitely come back and give it anopther shot... I just won't be ordering the ribeye

It was my first time here, but I can tell you, I will be bk, Melissa greeted us with the sweetest smile, sat us at the perfect table out side. Josh was our server, I asked what he suggested, So to start we had the Crab cake, .OMG So full of lumps of crab, very delish with a spicy aloli, Then the heirloom tomato ,arugla salad with fried orka, who would of thought so much flavor.,lol And my main coarse was the Onion crusted fresh grouper, WOW!! I don't like polenta, so I had the smashed sweet potates with kale, (Im glad the cheif was in a good mood to let me sub .) lol So fresh , so much flavor, so much food.. But I ate ever bite. Josh was really on top of everything, so sweet & right on what i asked him for. My only issue was the blonde girl , who was rushing us off our table, I asked her why, she said there was a long line out side? Really ?? when we left all the tables in side and a few out side were empty and no line, Other then that it was delish , very reasonable, Very happy , I wish them Great success... It really is a must try!!!

We stopped by a month ago but they were not open and we decided to come today. The staffs were very attentative by smiling at us and letting us know about table right away. Our waiter was Daniel and he informed us thouroughly about the drinks and food. Drinks were ok but they didnt have jaggermeister for my favorite drink so i switched to Sex on the beach. Our appetizers were tremendously delicious which I had chicken slider with sweet potatoes and my partner had pan seared scallops. Both were perfect. Then I had Sarge Burger and she had Beet and carrot salad. They both came out so hot and sooooooo wondeful. Daniel frequently checked on us with our food and there were 2 other people came by our table, i guess managers or owner - not so sure, asked us about our dinner too. Overall, A+ for everything which includes environment, atmosphere, food and most importantly SERVICE!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!
